Dear Colleagues and Friends,

After many years of work and thanks to the international co-operation of the above-mentioned organisations, we finally have a software program that allows us to exchange our clinical experiences in homeopathy on an international level.

This program is called Cli-Fi-Col for “ Clinical Files Collections. "

It is important to centralise our clinical cases as this helps to improve our daily practice in homeopathy.

The program enables you to search for special cases treated by fellow colleagues and to send in your own pertinent cases. You can also use this tool to study homeopathy for use in practice, to collect cases for clinical verification of pathogenic symptoms, thereby helping to improve our basic tools, the Repertory and Materia Medica, and for certain specific projects.

You are all invited to participate in sharing your knowledge and experiences. We are sure you will be favourably impressed by the simplicity of use, both as an individual and as a regional or national association.

This revolution is possible today thanks to computer science and Internet.

Why a database for Homeopathic clinical file

By integrating comprehensive medical documentation verified from a scientific point of view, the homeopathic clinical files database CLIFICOL (Clinical Files Collection)

  • Gives the international homeopathic community the benefit of sharing the experiences of homeopaths from all over the world
  • Puts case histories, with their methodology and remedy prescription, at the disposal of homeopaths for personal study or teaching purposes
  • Permits homeopathic schools to work together whilst respecting their different methodological approaches
  • Enables homeopaths to discover the differences and similarities between their particular methodology and that of colleagues when treating related clinical cases
  • Provides relevant clinical information based on fact for developing the homeopathic research field
  • Verifies and updates the homeopath's tools: Materia Medica, Repertory and Philosophy
  • Centralises clinical research thereby helping to shed light upon aspects of the paradigm as yet not satisfactorily explained
  • Allows the homeopath to access to updated and detailed clinical data recorded in an easy-to-use format
  • Organises clinical data in such a way that homeopathy can be seen as a reliable method of treatment along with conventional medicine by governments intending to make the practise of homeopathy official

The benefit

The main benefits can be summarized as follows:

  • Clinical verification of the efficacy of homeopathic remedies
  • Construction of a “Materia Medica Clinica viva” constantly updated and enriched with contemporary medical terms
  • Enrichment and verification of Repertorial symptoms through the proposals of new Repertorial degrees
  • Connection between Repertorial symptoms and the “natural language” of the patient
  • Comparison between the “clinical” symptomatology and the “experimental” symptomatology (proving). This will do away with the need for a distinction between classical and clinical homeopathy

Tools & Functions

Centralized Database

A powerful tool designed for centralizing and managing databases where millions of clinical cases can be stored. The cases are sent anonymously to the database via this web site or via WinCHIP software.

The WinCHIP clinical file in RadarOpus

Once the homeopath has recorded his case, he can upload it to the database with a simple mouse click. Cases can be updated after follow-up.

Internet

You can send and download clinical cases to the central database via the WinCHIP software client Internet-based service.

Cryptographic writing

Case histories are encrypted and transmitted anonymously from the homeopaths consulting room to the central database via Internet true SSL protocol (Secure Sockets Layer Protocol).

A common heritage

Notwithstanding that CLIFICOL has invested in the creation of the database, it fully recognizes that each homeopath remains the rightful owner of his own particular cases

An ethical and scientific affairs commission has been appointed to keep watch on the management of the database whose mission is to ensure that the mass of information remains the common legacy of the homeopathic community

All homeopaths and institutions are invited to contribute to this project whatever their particular methodological approach
